The Cottage
The Retreat has now closed permanently. We had a wonderful time running the space and meeting such a diverse group of people, but it is time to move on to other things. Thank you to all our guests for bringing your beautiful energy here.
The cottage is a homely and self contained space suitable for workshop leaders or small gatherings.
Attached to the main farmhouse the cottage is the former dairy. We have renovated it using traditional features such as a belfast sink and oak worktop in the kitchen. Terracotta tiled floors in the kitchen and garden room create a charming rustic atmosphere.
The ground floor has an open plan kitchen/ lounge area with a waxed oak floor. Off the lounge is a bright little garden room perfect for sitting and composing thoughts, staring aimlessly at the garden or for a quiet meal.
The first floor has a white washed stone shower room with toilet . There is a wood panelled double bedroom at the front and a small but picturesque single bedroom at the back.

- Washing Machine and Dishwashing Machine: The Cottage does not have a washing machine or dishwasher, however use of the owners washing machine can be arranged.
