Terms of Hire
Bookings can be made by email, telephone or letter.
Bookings are held for 5 days to allow time for the booking form to arrive.
Please make cheques payable to “J. Jenkins”. A non refundable deposit of 40% of the cost of you holiday is due with the booking form to confirm reservation.
The balance is required 6 weeks before the start of your holiday.
Sorry, we don’t take credit cards.
Last minute and short stay visits will be payable in full on booking.
Please inform us immediately if you have to cancel your holiday. If we are able to re-let the cottage for the same period your money will be repaid less the deposit. If we are unable to re-let the cottage, you will be liable for the full rent.
The use of the accommodation is entirely at the hirer’s risk and no responsibility can be accepted for loss or damage to persons/pets or personal belongings. No responsibility can be accepted for damage to, or loss of any vehicle or its contents.
The hirer is responsible for the property and undertakes to take all reasonable care of it, to keep it in a clean and tidy condition and to report damage or breakage immediately to the owner and to make adequate payment to cover loss.
The number of people using the accommodation at any time must not exceed the number stated on the Booking form without prior arrangement.
All properties are NON SMOKING, however you are welcome to smoke outside, ashtrays provided.
If your dog is pig, cat, sheep, other dog and people friendly we could discuss whether it is appropriate to stay. However, dogs that do stay are not allowed in the bedrooms and we prefer that you bring their own bed.
The furniture, fixtures and fittings should be left in the same state of repair and condition as found on your arrival. The property should be left in the same clean and tidy condition it was found, an additional cost will otherwise be incurred to cover the cost of extra cleaning.
Unless by prior arrangement, the period of let runs from 3.00 pm on the day of arrival and to 11.00 am on the day of departure.
The owner and/or his representative retain the right to enter the property at any time.
Should the property be unavailable on the day stated, all monies will be refunded without question. In no event shall the liability of the owners to the hirer exceed the rental paid for the property.
Whilst every effort is made to provide the amenities as advertised, no liability will fall on the owner should restrictions be applied in the event of floods, drought, power cuts or any other circumstances outside the control of the owners.
Any complaint arising either on arrival or once occupation has commenced must be brought to the owner’s attention immediately.
Please note that at Cerrig Llwyddion, an initial supply of logs are free, further supplies at cost.
